Focus in 2016

Focus

Last year was my first year to have a word that I would use as a guide for the year.  I chose the word, Intentional.  I wanted to be more intentional in my daily living and on the goals that I had set for myself.  I had a couple of goals that I didn’t do too well on.  I don’t even think I thought of my word and those goals slipped by and now here I am in 2016 wondering what went wrong.

In thinking about what my word would be for 2016, I figured I would just use the same word again and be more intentional on being intentional.  I was just about to write it down when the word FOCUS came to mind.  I just needed to FOCUS.

I am an easy going person and love life.  I can piddle a whole day away and be perfectly happy until I realize that I didn’t even look at my “to-do” list.  A day can turn in to a week easily for me.  Yes, the word “procrastinator” is an issue for me.  I make a list almost each day to stay on track. I need to Focus on what is before me!

So, all that to say…..FOCUS is my word for 2016.

Welcome, 2016!

Now….where is that list?

*I would love to hear the word that you have chosen for 2016.

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:14

  1. How funny, my word for the year is Intentional too. I’m always talking about what I want to do and not getting it done, thus this word. Hoping to be intentional in my walk with HIM. Hugs to you!
