"Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ."
Titus 2:12-13 NKJV

Beverly Dillow is the Proverbs 31 Woman. She has a reverence for God and it shows in all she does for her family, friends and women's ministry. I have known Beverly almost 16 years now. She was a fellow minister's wife and then a personal friend. We have since been involved in ministry on numerous occasions. I am grateful for her commitment to Jesus Christ and to women being equipped to know and to follow Him. She is a gifted and talented writer, speaker and women's ministry coordinator. She is always open to change and to the work of the Holy Spirit. You are blessed to know her.

Beverly and I met at a writer’s conference several years ago and became instant friends. I thought that was unique until I got better acquainted and realized that everyone Beverly meets wants to be her friend because of her ability to make them feel special and important – a rare talent and blessing in itself.

She is one of those ladies who is always there for you and seems to have a sense of exactly when you need for her to be there. She will laugh and cry with you and listen intently. If you need help or advice, she is willing to share it. If not, she is just willing to be there.

Beverly is smart, creative, talented and a tremendous inspiration to others. She is a wonderful leader because she is willing to work beside you. To me, Beverly is the epitome of a good friend and a blessing from God. I cherish the day He brought her into my life and I have thanked Him many times for that blessing.

His Heart, My Desire perfectly describes Beverly’s outlook, ministry, and life. We first met several years ago at the Glorieta Christian Writers’ Conference. She asked, “Do you speak?” I answered, “Incessantly, but to what purpose?” She had the answer. She always does. That’s why Beverly was the perfect speaker for our “Ready to Grow” luncheon held to launch the new women’s ministry group at First Baptist, Andrews, Texas. Beverly spoke with humor and wisdom, touching the hearts of the married, single, and single-again, the empty-nesters and moms with youngsters. With her encouragement and sound advice, our women’s ministry is growing. So am I. You will, too, once you know her, and you will know her through her writing because she writes what’s in her heart. His Heart, My Desire radiates from every word.

Beverly Dillow has a true heart for women. She is committed, passionate, and best of all, personable. Beverly joined our team as our go-to girl for mentorship and advice concerning all things homeschool, but she has turned out to be so much more. She is a gifted cheerleader and friend who loves to encourage women in EVERY area of their lives, including mine. I see God at work in Beverly through her writing, speaking and amazing event coordinating, and I learn forward with admiration. She is one fabulous asset to the world of women's ministry. Did I mention FABULOUS? A BIG THANK YOU, Beverly.

The writer of Proverbs 31 said;  “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. “

I have known Beverly Dillow for over two decades which would encompass several phases of her life.  As a young wife and mother to their two children, Beverly still had a heart for ministry to others.  And now as a devoted, involved grandmother, Beverly still invests herself in ministry to others. Beverly has developed and leads the Women’s Ministry at our Church.    Beverly also has developed a network of Women’s Ministry leaders and plans and coordinates women’s’ seminars and workshops on a regular basis.

Beverly has the wisdom that comes from her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and is well qualified to give guidance to others, whether it is personally or through her writing. Being her Pastor has been a privilege for me.

Since Beverly assumed the role as Women's Ministry Leader at Kelview Heights Baptist Church in 2004, our ministry has moved in a new direction.   We have seen amazing things happen, including new women to women relationships, tremendous volunteerism and the most obvious - spiritual growth.  Beverly always has a clear vision and a direction for our women, and her ideas seem limitless.  Her love for her Lord, her family and her church is a blessing to all of us who know her.  She is truly a jewel in the crown of Kelview Heights Baptist Church.  God is using her in a tremendous way to bring women to a better knowledge and understanding of their Savior Jesus Christ.
